Papery Heart / Lost Frequency

When we perform this song, we often cut papery hearts & throw them out to the audience. We feel the song is about the strength in embracing one’s vulnerability, but also about saying no to all that wants to destroy you. There’s no future in listening to a dominating discourse repeating itself and taking up all the space. Disruption is necessary. ”Poor white little man, I KNOW your time is up.”

Papery Heart / Lost Frequency

Don’t judge me
Don’t touch me
Don’t crush me

Don’t judge me
Don’t crush me

Poor white little man
I think your time is up
Dead end nights
dead end nights

Oh
peace please
peace please
peace please

Who sank these ships ?
Who sank these ships ?
And crushed my papery heart
Don’t touch my papery heart

Don’t touch, don’t don’t touch

Don’t judge me
Don’t touch me
Don’t crush me

Don’t judge me
Don’t touch me

Poor white little man
I KNOW your time is up
Dead end nights
dead end nights

Oh
peace please
peace please
peace please

Who sank these ships ?
Who sank these ships ?
And crushed my papery heart
And touched my papery heart
Don’t touch my papery hearts

Don’t crush my papery heart
